Where will you shoot a wedding?
Dave will travel to any destination to shoot a wedding, and all of our wedding packages include expenses within Indiana. Please contact us to discuss additional fees for other locales.
Do you shoot film or digital?
We prefer the digital format, which we find allows us the greatest flexibility when it comes to creative expression. Our digital equipment allows us to provide full photographic resolution prints of up to 30x40 inches.
What photographer shoots my wedding?
Dave Mason is ISP’s full time wedding photographer.
Who is the “Second Professional Photographer” in the package?
We have several ‘associate photographers’ we work with. Most have photography degrees, and all have previous experience with Image Source as either wedding assistants or photographers. Our associates serve as only the second photographer, Dave is always the primary photographer.
Where will you photograph the Engagement Session?
We are generally willing to photograph an engagement session anywhere within the Lafayette or Indianapolis vicinities.
How does the online proofing work?
We distribute the log-in and password information to the guests at your wedding. Normally within ten days the images become available for viewing and purchasing on our site. The system accepts all major credit cards, allowing everyone to do their own ordering, and freeing the wedding couple from organizing any orders or payment for others.
What about traditional proofs?
The proof book is normally ready for delivery to our wedding couple within six weeks of the wedding. It is yours to keep. The proof book is a Linen Hard Cover Proof Book, a bound volume with glossy pages, six wallet size images to a page, not individual prints.
What is a Coffee Table Album?
Unlike traditional ‘prints slipped into a page’ albums, the pages of a Coffee Table Album are in fact photographic prints. This allows the opportunity to design a layout that tells the story of your wedding. These pages are permanently bound to sturdy board backing and are laminated against the elements, giving your album pages the ability to be viewed over and over. Our album manufacturer guarantees these books to be free from defects for life. See a sample in the products link.
Who designs my Coffee Table Album?
Dave completes a preliminary album design for you the week following your wedding. From that design, you’re welcome to request changes to the design (adding/subtracting pages, substituting images, etc.) until it represents the album you’ll keep for life.
What is a Linen Hard Cover Book?
The Linen Hard Cover Book is a bound volume with glossy pages similar to any offset print book you’d find on the shelves of your favorite bookseller. Being paper pages, this book is much lighter and more affordable than our Coffee Table Album, although obviously not as durable. The Linen Hard Cover Book is perfect as a Parent’s Album or gift.
