Weddings...

I've been excited to meet some wonderful new folks the past couple of months, and even more excited to be photographing weddings for many of them this coming season.

I do, however, have lots of openings still available this year, so if you're reading this and know someone who's getting married or engaged, I'd love to meet some of YOUR friends and family!

Thanks!

Band-O-Rama

Last weekend I made it out to see six different local bands here in Lafayette. I wasn't able to photograph them all, but I did get some pretty cool stuff of a few.

First up is Chemcoma, a young, hard-rocking group. They've appeared on my blog in the past, and if you order their CD you'll see some of my images included on it.

After their set, I ventured down to The Knickerbocker, one of my band's favorite venues, BTW, to catch the Future Lovers. They're kind of a poppier version of the Ramones, and lots of high energy fun. Tim, the bass player, is also a good friend.

Last up on Friday night was Big Joe Honeywagon, an eclectic mix of interesting folks and sounds, including steel guitar, banjo, fiddle, saxophone, trombone and lots more. They were performing that evening at Skylight Coffee, a mostly all-ages venue downtown.

Hogbarn Clothing

Hogbarn is a new clothing line coming from Lafayette, IN aimed at the Harley-Davidson crowd. I was hired to do the photography for their upcoming marketing campaign. A very fun project, we blasted through about 15 models and twenty articles from the clothing line, all in about two hours!

The folks from Euphoria Day Spa and Salon were on hand to keep the models looking great, and Jay from JP Video Productions was on hand capturing the event for posterity. Everyone involved were wonderful to work with, and I'm excited about seeing Hogbarn's finished promo materials! A few sample images:

How cute is this guy? :0)

Hogbarn is for the whole family!

My favorite from the session, it's so spontaneous and fun!

Drake

Drake Lewellyn came in for our Senior Special last week, and we got some cool images of him. Just a quick sample of one design we came up with.

PMG at the LBC, yo! (LOL)

My friends in the PMG were at the Lafayette Brewing Company on Saturday, February 16. They brought the rock, as always, and this time I brought my camera. Check it out:

Broke a bone! (First one)

So, I rammed my toe into the railing around the basement steps at my house. Broke my little toe in two! A trip to the E.R. came next, since it was pointing sideways at that stage (not good). As a result, I've moved most of my projects back a week or so, but I'm still at the computer answering email, phone calls, etc.
