Erica & Baron

This shoot almost didn't happen! On the drive down to Indy there were some dark, DARK clouds looming on the horizon! Then the wind started whipping around at a high velocity!

Just when all seemed lost, Erica and Baron appeared at our meeting place near the canals, and suddenly the wind stopped, the sun came out and I swear it warmed up 20 degrees! LOL

Seriously, though, that's almost exactly how it went down. Lucky for us, because I think we were able to get some BEAUTIFUL shots. Can't wait 'til the wedding!

Some wide angle fun:

And this one was at Baron's suggestion (good call!):

Leah & Joey

This engagement session was actually a couple of weeks ago, but I've been spending quite a bit of time battling with my computer. Don't let those Mac commercials fool you, they have plenty of bugs in them!

Anyway, I can be thrilled about the great couples I'm working with this year, and Leah and Joey are no exception! They're very laid back and friendly, my kind of people. They are a little more inclined toward sports than me, as you can see in the photos they're big baseball fans (actually I LOVE to play baseball), but they make me smile, too, and that's a good thing!

Carrie & Dan, Saturday May 19

UPDATE: Images up here!

UPDATE: The album preview is now online! See it here!

"Classic". That's the word Carrie uses to describe the vision for her wedding, and I'd say she has hit the mark. Carrie and Dan were married in Carmel at the Oak Hill Mansion, a very elegant and peaceful setting.

Spirits were high all day long, and the photo opportunities were boundless! We were able to do a great mixture of image styles due to the locations we used both at the Mansion and in Downtown Indy. The family, guests and bridal party were just fantastic, making my job a delight!

Watch for an album design coming in a few days, here are some quick favorites for now...

And finally, a last minute concept we came up with during the last few minutes of the day:

Jamie & Zach

I shot my first Indy engagement session of '07 last Thursday. After stressing about the weather, we were in luck and spent quite some time downtown getting some great (I think) shots. Jamie is wonderful and just so enthusiastic, and Zach did a great job, too! My job was really quite easy...

Jamie brought some flowers along to incorporate into some of the 'artsy' stuff. I like it:
