Thank you to all those who voted for the Best of 2009 – Weddings! Our winner this year was “A Classic Wedding” with Beau and Julia Taylor. A donation has been made in their names to the American Cancer Society to further cancer research. Looking forward to 2010 – it’s going to be even better with so many great weddings lined up.

I made the trip to Indy yesterday to visit some friends, and on the way I stopped by Circle City Planners to drop off Tonya’s new Canvas Gallery Wrap! Here’s a fun little video I made with my iPhone 3Gs and iMovie:
Hey everybody! I’m getting excited about the upcoming wedding season – some very wonderful couples, some great locales, even another destination wedding!

What can I say? Thank you SO much to the Sharp and Russell families for such a wonderful Day! It’s not often that a twelve-hour shoot FLIES by, but that’s just what happened! Our ceremony was at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers, and the Reception at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. Fantastic visual opportunities at each, and I’m very excited about so many of the images from the day!
Check back soon for much more to come, in the meantime here are just a few faves. Thanks again to Chris, Lanette, Jen, Dave, Roger, Becky, Morgan and Susan (so nice meeting you!)

Sunday’s wedding at the Omni Severin in Indianapolis was very special. I know that’s the kind of thing we say all the time in this line of work… but very often it’s absolutely 100% true. In this case it certainly is! Amy is such a beautiful bride, Kris is such a gentleman, and the Omni is second to none in my opinion. Thanks to the families and bridal party for making Tory, Lannette and I feel so at home. Enjoy these previews, and stop back soon for even more.
My friend Stu is a commercial photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I met his fiancĂ© Korie almost three years ago in Portland at my friend Chris Bennett’s wedding. When he asked me to come to Austin to photograph his wedding I practically couldn’t say no! ‘Course, there was the added pressure of half the people there being photographers or otherwise artists!
But, of course the wedding was lovely, just as Stu promised… here’s a little sample!
