Another wedding weekend has come, and gone. Sheila and Ben’s lives will never be the same. And yet here I sit doing something I’ve done a hundred times before, and even my life will never be quite the same. Once again, I’m reminded of why I do what I do as I sort through the thousands of images we created on Friday and Saturday.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous by the time Saturday rolled around – I’ve been feeling quite under the weather for several days now, and of course I place high expectations upon myself and my team when it comes to working an event. Could I meet everyone’s expectations?

Well, I should never have worried. From the moment Tara and I arrived at the Omni on Friday evening, we were instantly part of the family, the Millers and Wolffs looked after our every need. A heart felt “thank you”, to the families as well as Amber from the Omni. A big thank you to Mike for your significant contribution to the day’s work, your images of Ben and the groomsmen are outstanding. Oh, I’m sure I’ll feature some of your ceremony and dancing images in the album, too! And finally thank you to my wife Tara – your lighting/key grip skills are second to none!

So let’s take a look at some favorites… some by special request! Can you guess which were Ben’s idea? Thanks for being so patient with us, Sheila!

Be sure and check back no later than Thursday, I’ll have a link to Sheila and Ben’s personal site featuring a slide show, the Signature Edition Print, and finally their album design. Don’t miss it!

UPDATE: The album design is online now! Hurray!

UPDATE: View Brittany and Justin’s personal website here! See more faves, check out their (unbelievable) Signature Edition Print, and click on Purchase Images to register to see all their images!

UPDATE: So, I was hoping to have some more for you all to see by now, but installation of a new OS on the computer has got me just about a day behind. Should have more by this time tomorrow!

After a two week break (which made me waaaay too lazy!) it was good to be back in the saddle. It’s amazing how fast fourteen or so hours can fly by!

I started my day at Buffer Park Golf Course on the south side of Indianapolis. I don’t claim to know very much about golf, but it appears that Justin is a pretty capable player. Brittany had given him some clubs as a gift, and I reminded her to be careful what she wishes for! Some guys can spend a lot of time on the course. :)

I was greeted by Tonya from Circle City Planners upon arriving at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. We’ve done a few weddings together now and it’s a joy working with her and her team. It was a very hot day, so we decided to work mostly inside. I think we found some wonderful opportunities… but my personal highlight of the entire day is the final shot of the evening that you see here – so dramatic!!!

Thanks to a huge bridal party for being so cooperative and patient with my team and me, thank you to two wonderful families for the hospitality, and as always a personal thank you to Tory and Michael.

Check back soon for even more – Brittany and Justin’s personal website will be online in just a couple days, and you’ll be able to find the link right here!

Here’s our sneak peek!

UPDATE: Album design is now online! Check it out here! Finally!

UPDATE: Man, I’m soooo close to being done with the design… but I have to go supervise and help work over at the new place, so I must stop for now. I don’t want to rush it, and I promise it will be worth the wait. Should definitely be up tomorrow evening, I’m that close to done!

UPDATE: The preliminary album design should be up later today, stay tuned!

I just had to say a quick word of thanks one more time. Julia – a very beautiful and considerate bride indeed. Beau is an absolute gentleman and someone I am proud to call my friend. Gary & Nancy, Leah & Joey – it was a real pleasure seeing you again (and little Joey!). Peter & Marilyn, so very nice meeting you both, you have a wonderful family.

Oh, and lest I forget, Brad & Alissa… good to see you doing so well, stay in touch!

Lots more coming soon, here’s the slide show for now!

UPDATE: The preliminary album design is now online! View it here!

Sunday’s wedding at the Omni Severin in Indianapolis was very special. I know that’s the kind of thing we say all the time in this line of work… but very often it’s absolutely 100% true. In this case it certainly is! Amy is such a beautiful bride, Kris is such a gentleman, and the Omni is second to none in my opinion. Thanks to the families and bridal party for making Tory, Lannette and I feel so at home. Enjoy these previews, and stop back soon for even more.
