At ISPhotographic we are always preaching about using an Engagement Session as a tool to learn how a couple photographs. During Nick and Jen’s engagement shoot it quickly became clear that they photographed best when looking at each other. Both Nick and Jen would giggle and glow every time. In fact, Jen lit up so much looking at Nick that she could not even keep a serious face for their mock baseball rivalry shots.

The final location for their shoot deserves some back story; it was Jen’s old front porch where she and Nick kissed for the first time. I hope that my images tell the story half as well as Nick does.

It’s family portrait season here at ISPhotographic. Over the next month the family portraits are going to be taking over the blog.  My love of Prophetstown and picnic tables continued for the Ohland family shoot, that said, image 2 is my favorite of the session. What is yours? Let me know in the comments!
