All of my files are stored with a three-drive backup plan, including the fireproof, waterproof ioSafe. Here’s a fun video from Macworld demonstrating it’s capabilities – I think we’re in good hands!

The move is almost complete, and it’s back to some real work! My friends in Root Hog celebrated their first CD release last Saturday night and of course I offered to take a few photos.

It was one of the largest local shows I’ve seen in Lafayette in 20 years, with roughly 400 people in attendance. Everyone had a great time, yada, yada, yada. No, seriously it was fun!

Many of you know about my move to 5th & Main Streets in Lafayette, it has nearly consumed my life in the last couple of weeks. But I have also had perhaps my busiest month in ten years with wedding, portraits, and other projects. I am proud to say I’ve managed to keep up with both (at least 99%), even if it has required WAY too many 16 hour days.

So, here’s a quick sneak peek at the front of the new place. It will be some time yet before everything is just-so, but I’m sure you’re all willing to understand the work-in-progress motif!
